Barons Shutout Bulldogs
On Friday night at the P&H Centre the Hanover Barons shutout the Kincardine Bulldogs 3-0 for their twenty-first win of the season.
Jason Demetrius had a goal and two assists for the Barons with captain Jacob Brown and Brad Pitt adding the insurance goals for Hanover. Also earning assists were Brad Pitt, Hayden Smith and Daniel Hnatko. Mitch Campbell the league’s Player of the Month for December stopped all 30 shots directed his way for his league leading third shutout of the season.
The Barons are currently in second place with a 21-9-4 record after 34 games but second place will most likely be decided next weekend when the Barons travel to Mitchell for a match with the Mitchell Hawks (21-10-2) for their last game of the regular season on Saturday January 28.
The Barons last home game of the regular season is with the Walkerton Hawks on Friday January 27 at 8:30 at the P&H Centre.
